BAS - Dark Hunter Mimic

I've always loved the idea of the Dark Hunters. A shadowy organization in the Bionicle world full of a strange collection of species with only the desire for wealth and power. There are so many interesting powers and characters in the organization, but one of my favorites has always been Mimic. After a natural disaster destroyed his home, he wandered around with his female friend (love's not canon...), eventually discovering he had "Photographic Reflexes," or the ability to replicate any physical feat he watches perfectly, instantly, and without practice. Shortly afterwards, his friend disappeared and he was approached by the Shadowed One, the leader of the organization, with an offer to find her if Mimic would join the Hunters. Mimic agreed only out of desperation to find his friend, never suspecting that she was locked away in the Dark Hunter fortress dungeons. "There is nothing more magical than friendship, or so I have been told..." (Karz, The Shadowed One is a brony).

So, while the stories and powers of the Hunters are always interesting reads, their designs are... eh. They were chosen in a contest back before the ball joint came into common use, and so many of them are cringeworthy. Mimic had a decent design, but his colors were a little messy. I tried to simplify them as best as I could here, cleaning out the greys, white, gunmetal, and even trans-orange in favor of some nice and simple black and silver over red organics. The drawing itself is fairly rough, admittedly, but I don't have all that much time to clean it up further.

And look at that, I can submit this to the Bionicle Art Squad!
