Kopen Sketchdump

It's been a while since I posted anything of my feisty little "Ta-"Matoran Kopen. Though Bionifight is long over, I just can't get past this character. Long story short, this was to be the last tournament Bionifight ever held, as the entire facility was sent crashing down on a hostile planet, killing and wounding countless contestants including Kopen's close friend Tenjou, a Toa of Light. In her last moments, Tenjou transferred her Toa Energy and her very being into Kopen's staff, and Kopen found herself to be a Toa of Light. That was the easy part. The hard part would be mastering her new abilities while blind (If you really want to hear more about Kopen, you can check out this journal).

I drew Kopen's Matoran form way back at the beginning of the RP, but the rest of these doodles are brand new to most of you. Starting from the left are the original colored drawings I made of her, the bottom of which I never finished/posted. Second, a new, revised version of both her forms. In the top middle is Kopen's Kanohi Kakama, something I based slightly on 's Eltanin (who actually has a lot in common with Kopen, which lead to the doodle in the bottom middle of the two). The last two drawings are scenes from an RP I'm playing with , , , and . On the left is Kopen sitting with one of her best friends, 's Aponica, and on the right, a very unhappy and very wet Kopen after her training with 's Pazia went sour.
